Students and their families can take part in special activities conducted throughout the year by the farm's very own youth club - Club KEC. You do not need to own a horse to be part of this program. Many of our activities will be based on the AMHA Horsemanship Program (ways to know more about the Morgan breed and general horsemanship skills). Club KEC meetings are open to our riders and their friends and siblings - feel free to bring the kids! (Club KEC does not involve riding, but there will be special events which involve our four legged friends!).

This club is a great way to spend time with others who love horses, meet new friends, do activities and develop more barn spirit! Generally, meetings will be held at the KEC Lounge, but the club will also be involved with horse and community building events throughout the year.

Meetings usually take place on Fridays. There is a $5 cost to cover activities and supplies. This is not a riding club but we will do many fun, horse related activities. The club is directed by Johnna Chenail, the 2000 American Morgan Horse Association Youth Person of the Year and the leader of the 1999 and 2000 AMHA Youth Club of the Year.
